The heroes among the active ingredients

Somehow, skin care seems to be getting more and more complicated and most of your questions reach me on this very topic: What, when, how and especially with what should I care for my skin?

It depends on the order of the products and the ingredients!
Cleansing (including face water/toner) plus serum or fluid, then the face oil and in the evening additionally the face balm.

Masks and peelings are considered extras, these are done 1-2 times a week.

Here are the most important and most effective ingredients and in which products
you can find them.

SQUALANE: Squalane is the moisture booster of all. Like a protective shield, it locks moisture into the skin, making it look plump and smooth. Best used daily to prevent moisture loss and improve skin suppleness. Squalane is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types. Our squalane is of plant origin (from the olive) is non-greasy and visibly increases the elasticity of the skin by providing it with abundant moisture. Perfect for all skin types to bind moisture in the skin.

ANTIOXIDANTIES: For example, in a natural variant, such as Rosehip + Frankincense oil. This is because rosehip contains vitamins A, E and C, and is also rich in amino acids. The quickly absorbed oil not only feels very pleasant on the skin, the essential fatty acids such as omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids have a strong antioxidant effect on. This oil must not be missing in my Super Ingredients list, because antioxidants protect us every day from oxidative stress such as blue light from computer screens & Co.

NIACINAMIDE: The vitamin B3 derivative has antioxidant properties and protects the skin from free radicals. This prevents premature aging of the skin. In addition, the substance stimulates lipid production and the body's own collagen and elastin formation. The result is firmer, smoother skin that gains elasticity. Fine wrinkles are softened, irritations are alleviated. The vitamin B3 derivative is also known to inhibit the synthesis of melanin, making dark pigment spots and pimple marks disappear. It also restores radiance to the skin and provides an even complexion.

CLAY: The effectiveness of clay is as versatile as its application possibilities. When clay is applied to the skin in the form of a mask, a suction effect is created. In this process, the mineral clay binds fat, sebum and wound secretions, as well as bacteria and adherent substances. As soon as the moisture of the skin is in balance, the physical effect ends. White clay - as we use it in the French Clay Mask - also contains a lot of iron. It cleanses intensively, has an antibacterial effect and helps the skin to gently rid itself of dirt, impurities and clogged pores. Please do not leave on too long!

LACTIC ACID: Lactic acid is one of the most effective and gentle beauty ingredients and already delivers amazing results in a very short time. This is because lactic acid is a true moisture booster - it has an intensive moisturizing effect and ensures that the skin stays hydrated for longer. Another positive effect of lactic acid is its gentle, mild exfoliating effect, which dissolves keratinization of the upper layer of the skin and refines pores, revealing smooth, pure and even skin. Perfect in our masks (see above) or Voyanics Rose-Neroli Cream Mask.

SEABUCKTHORNOIL: Sea buckthorn pulp oil is a particularly valuable ingredient that helps regenerate and protect the skin. Beta-carotene (provitamin A) is a precursor of vitamin A, which has an anti-inflammatory effect on eczema and acne.
anti-inflammatory effect and at the same time protects and regenerates the skin. Sea buckthorn promotes natural wound healing and that is why I always recommend it for easily inflamed, irritated, irritated and spotty skin. In addition, the polyunsaturated palmitoleic acid, an omega-7 fatty acid, prevent premature aging of the skin.

SHEABUTTER: One of my favorite active ingredients, especially in stressful times, because shea butter intensively moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and supple (again). And because shea butter has such a skin-soothing effect and relieves itching, it is also ideal for neurodermatitis or other skin irritations. Especially sensitive skin, which is often sensitive to chemical ingredients, loves shea butter! Thanks to the intensive moisture supply, it improves the elasticity of the skin, has a smoothing effect and is super effective for dryness wrinkles or chapped skin areas.

HYALURONIC ACID: Hyaluron is a natural component of the skin and provides significantly more elasticity and resilience of the skin. However, the body's own hyaluron production decreases with age, but you can compensate from the outside! Hyaluronic acid is a completely natural component of the skin cell that stores moisture, thus supporting the skin's natural moisture depot. In this respect, hyaluronic acid is THE anti-aging active ingredient par excellence and should not be missing in any care ritual.Ideal as an additional care, for example, as a serum under the cream or facial oil.
